I'm testing out migrating our data from a self-hosted Jira server to the cloud based system, almost everything seems to work except that my own user is missing.
The Atlassian.com user that I'm using to do the migration has the same username and email address as my user in Jira server.
When the migration is complete, all issues and projects appear to be available but any issue reported or assigned to me is assigned to "User" instead.
I guess this is because the cloud sign-up has created a new user for me, but not linked it to the Jira server user being imported.
Is there a work around for this?
