Missing basic search / advanced search bar

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
I am not able to search issues and create filters for the same in Jira.
When i click on Search Issues, List of Issues appears but search bar is missing so I cannot search issues or create new filter.
