I have an automated task scheduled to run every quarter, containing three sub-tasks that execute smoothly. However, one of these sub-tasks needs to be delayed by one month from the time the main task is created. Is there a way to adjust the timing of a specific sub-task's generation within the scheduled task?
Hi @zain Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
It's like @Vishal Biyani states, a second scheduled automation would be your best way to get the job done. To help you find the parent issue(s) from the first automation, you might want to mark these with a label, so that you can tell the second automation to especially look for that.
Upon creating the delayed sub-task, you can clear the label so that following runs of the second automation do not create duplicate sub-tasks.
Kind regards,
Dick
Can you share the screen shot of the automation that you have?
If one task need to be created at a schedule that is different for other two tasks, what is the challenge is creating 2 different automations?
