A user story has 4 sub tasks. The sub tasks are moved to Done column. I want to see the main issue in the Done column.
Hi @C Anuradha - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
You can create an automation rule that will transition the parent to Done when all of the sub-tasks are done. See this example of how to do that.

Hi John,
Currently i have all the 4 sub tasks as "Closed" status. The PArent issue is also "Closed" status. But i see the sub tasks in the Done Column...but not the Parent task.

Is the parent shown on the board and just in a different column? Or you don't see it on the board at all?
Also, what type of project is this? Team-managed? Company-managed?

It shows the US as the heading row, with the 4 sub tasks below in each of the "To Do", "In Progress" and "Done" column. I want the main task to also come below the Done column...not as a header row kind

Ah, thanks for the update. Unfortunately, boards for Team-managed projects are very limited and you are not able to update how the issues are displayed. You could create a second Jira Software board and link it to your Team-managed project to be able to do that if you like. Here is an article that will walk you through how to create a second board if you are interested.

Hi @C Anuradha ,
Welcome to Atlassian Community.
This can be achieved through configuring the board. Modify the Board filter to exclude the Sub-Task which will only showcase the user stories in the column.
let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Tejaswini
