Moving issues between swimlanes

rp September 29, 2014

Hi,

I would like to know in a Kanban Board, without leaving it. If an issue can be moved across swimlanes.

Thanks in advance.

No.  A swimlane is essentially a filter, not a field, and you can build quite complex ones where JIRA would have no chance of knowing what a change of swimlane means to the data.

Thanks, was looking for clarification more than an answer since the documentation does not state that clearly.

I mean swimlane ( a swimlane in an agile board is a row not a column ).

Add special labels to this kind of Issue

Then Edit the kanban Filter likes project = XXX and labels != xxx
