When any user goes to 'Issue search' in Jira (7.10.1 server) we are seeing two Search buttons (see screenshot). Anyone experienced this? I can't see a known issue in Jira.
Also, after running multiple searches, we sometimes see more buttons appear so there ends up being 5-6 of them!
Seen with Chrome and I.E.
I've seen something similar happen with a couple of bugs in add-ons. I would think about blaming Scriptrunner for this one, except that it doesn't touch the search screen directly, so I suspect it may be another one.
Can you use the browser developer tools to check what each button does? Are they identical in the background?
Actually, I had the same issue and landed here searching for help. Based on your comment, I disabled ScriptRunner and it stopped happening. I enabled again and now have multiple search buttons again:
Use the back button to return to search screen seems to double the number of search buttons.

I've had it confirmed it's a bug in a couple of versions of Scriptrunner. It's annoying, but harmless. To fix it, upgrade to a newer version.

Thanks, ScriptRunner upgrade did the trick!
