My colleague can't close the Ticket

Every time he clicks on "Close" there is an error message :

"Attention this field is required. It ssems that you have tried to perform and illegal workflow operation. If you think you shouldn't get this message please contact your Jira administrators"

Hi,

There is a workflow for every ticket. you need to follow the flow otherwise it will be an error for illegal operation. or he doesn't have permission to perform that action. please check the workflow condition.

Only JIRA Admin can only able to check the workflow setting
Please go to the Setting Icon-->Issues --> select the workflow(its available in the left side panel)--> you need to select which workflow is mapped to your project.

Before closing the ticket some particular field you need to update. If that filed not updated the workflow won't allow to move the closed status
