My created tkts are disappearing

Khyati Pitroda May 6, 2022

Hello! For last 3 days, my newly created tkts are disappearing the moment they are created instead of appearing in the To-do list. I know they are getting created as the next tkt number appears on the next attempt and when we use tkt url I am able to access the tkt however it is not visible on the board. Please help me.

You can reach out to me at pitrodakathy@gmail.com.

Regards,

Khyati

@Khyati Pitroda , welcome to the Atlassian Community

If you are using a Team Managed project, this could be because the status the ticket is in has not been included on the board.

Try the following:

Access the board;
Click on "Configure board";
Map your flow statuses to board columns by dragging them.

From there, whenever a ticket is created, it will appear in the equivalent column where you mapped the status.

If that doesn't help, come back with some screenshots or more details and we'll continue to help.

Hi team,

The issue is the tickets get created, they are there in the list or when you query them but the created cards do not appear on the Kanban board.

What's happening is the ticket shows up on the To-Do column for three seconds, the counter on the column increments correctly. But after three seconds the cards disappears.
Unfortunately, i don't think we can correct any configurations at our end to fix it. Hopefully, Jira support will be able to help with this.

The board is glitching , you create a card it appears there for three seconds and then disappears.
I have attached a video as well for more understanding. Please click on this link for the video.
Awaiting your reply with a solution.

Khyati

@Khyati Pitroda

I see this video. This is a behavior that really deviates from the expected.

I believe that in this case, it would be more interesting for you to try a direct solution with Atlassian support, through the link: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/

Please try opening a support ticket directly with Atlassian and they will be able to look at a more detailed level to see if there is unexpected behavior happening in your Jira.

Like Fernando mentions,

You or your project admin needs to look at the Board settings and check for

Unassigned statuses

and the drag them to the expected column :)

Hi Fernando and CJ,

Please see this screenshot we do not have a 'board' configuration option where we can edit the columns or statuses.

Khyati
