Hello,
I am project lead for the Canada IT - DCIT project and need admin rights to this project to configure the Jira board. How can I get this access as the person who created this board has already left the company and I need to manage this jira board going forward.
Please advise.
Thanks,
Your Jira Admin / Site Admin will have access to edit the Board Admin to yourself - these users might be in your IT Support department or similar.
Similarly, they can edit the owner of the board filter if needed, via Jira Settings > System > Shared Filters.
Ste
just recreate the board so that you are the new owner. Often the underlying filter is basic, e.g. project = abc, making it easy to replicate for sure. if you have a system admin they can delete the old board.

Contact your local Jira admin and ask to be added as a board admin

The Board admin has left the company and that's why i am trying to know who can help me in obtaining the admin access?

We cannot know who your administrators are. You should start by asking the people around you in your organisation.
