Need help with integrating react app to Atlassian Connect - Jira

We built a market place app using react framework . We are now trying to connect the app using atlassian connect . We are running into issues starting the react app . 

React DOM is rendered in index.js . Is there a way for us to directly use index.js in atlassianconnect.json ? This would help us render React DOM on running start command
