Hi Team,

We need to capture the number of certain fields filled in a new number filed.
When those fields are updated with some value the count should be increased or if they are updated with empty value the count should be decrease.

Thanks,
Suresh

Hello @S Suresh ,

Please let me know if you use the Power Scripts app (or consider trying it) and I can help you with the SIL script for this.

Best regards,
Anna

Hi @S Suresh -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

I believe you could do that with either an automation for Jira rule, or one of the marketplace addons for scripting fields.  However...

What problem are you trying to solve by doing this?  What does this counter field represent?

Knowing those things may help the community to offer suggest better aligned with your scenario.

Kind regards,
Bill
