Need to display and navigate through another application web page on a Confluence Page

Soham Das March 14, 2023

We have an in house built application that we use to run various test scripts and track the progress of the script executions. We would like a solution via a Confluence macro (or otherwise) by which we can display the web page of that application on a Confluence page and navigate through that application from the Confluence page itself.

We have tried using the HTML macro in Confluence and the web page gets displayed in the Confluence Page but whenever we click on any link of that page user is directed to the actual application URL in the browser.

We would like to display another web application in the Confluence Page and navigated through it in the Confluence page itself.

Any suggestions on how to achieve this?

When you say "HTML" macro do you mean "iFrame"?

You would use an iFrame in the HTML macro.  Learn more about the Confluence macro here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/html-macro-38273085.html

@Soham Das There is nothing like this that I know of other than using iFrames in the HTML macro but that sounds like it is not working the way you expect it to.  You could always build your own macro.
