Need to show create issue screen in JIRA

Is there a way for the user to get to the see Create Issue screen in JIRA by default? I got the Single Sign On to work and now got another request that instead of clicking on the Create button, it should show the create issue screen itself.

Please let me know.

Why don't you just use the redirect?

OK. So there is no way we can go directly to http://servername:8080/secure/CreateIssue!default.jspa because by typing http://servername:8080 it will log you in directly and takes you to dashboard page showing the url as http://servername:8080/secure/dashboard.jspa

The only way I have been able to do so is by right clicking on Create Issue and opening in a new tab.
