Is there a way to allow customers to see fields in the portal? We need to allow them to see things like Begin Date, Due Date, etc.
Hi Jen, welcome to the Community. Have you tried and been unsuccessful? You can include fields in the detail view where the customer clicks on a specific issue and is taken to a screen w/ the details of that issue. As of now you cannot add them to the list view but there is some activity ongoing to all for some configuration of the list view. Unsure exactly what that will look like and when that will be however.
Hi Jen,
You can try our own Feature Bundle for Jira Service Management to display fields like:
In the Server DC version you can also display:
If any field is missing then just let us know at support@appsvio.com

Hi @Jen Millan 👋
You mention portals. Are you using Jira Software or are you in Jira Service Management (JSM)? I ask b/c there's a difference in how you can present fields between the two.
If you're using JSM, Atlassian has a guide on setting up Request Types that customers would see on your portal:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/servicemanagementserver/setting-up-request-types-939926357.html
You could also try an app like ProForma Lite (up to three free form templates) to show customers the fields you want (and link that data back to Jira fields).
If I'm off the mark, let me know. Happy to talk it through.
Peter
