Even after deselecting the Labs option in my profile, all issues that I open up default to the new view style. I've tried clearing cookies.
Is there something I'm doing wrong to disable the new view?

Hello Jens,
Thank you for your answer.
AnaIizing your screenshot, I think we have a misunderstanding here.
The new issue Detail view is already turned off on your Site, so you should see the detail view on Active board session for your software projects like this:
And not like this:
Explaining better, the new issue detail view feature is only applicable to the Active View of boards in Software Projects.
Business Projects were originally created with the view, so it can not be removed.
Please, let me know if this is not the behavior you are facing.

I usually dont use boards, i make tasks. Therefore this board view is not important for me. The ticket view is important.
So, do i understand it correct that it is not possible to turn off the new ticket view (attached) for longer (just possible as long as the ticket/tab is open)? Although i saw the option in the 3 dots (when i remember right)?

Hello Derek,
If you have already deselected the labs, I would try two steps:
- Try to open JIRA in a new browser and check if it keeps displaying. Also, try to disable the feature again using the same browser.
- Try to login with a different user and check how the issues are displaying.

Tried all of it. It still displays everything with the new view. Is this possibly something our administrator locks in?

same here,
I tried a different browser, deselecting Labs, logged in and out and in again.
Also deleted the cookies.
Also selected the option in the ticket in the 3 dots (below new issue view) -> now this option is not visible anymore
Sometimes when i open a ticket i see the old design (fine)
Most of the time i have to turn it off every time i open the ticket.
eg i have a ticket (where i tested this), every time i open it, it is in the new design, then i swith it off and next time it is the new design again.
PLEASE fix this bug or help
thx
btw
i dont find the option here, i dont see "personal settings

Hello Derek and Jens,
@Derek Rapenchuk Can you please confirm if you are using JIRA Core boards?
In fact, this view is not configurable in JIRA Core.
@Jens Lüke In your case, Can you please let us know what options you have when you click on your profile picture at the bottom-left corner? You should see the Personal settings in the drop-down when you click on it.

Hello Jens,
In order to better troubleshoot the problem, please provide us the information below:
- What is the version of your JIRA? is it JIRA Cloud or Server?
- What options are displayed when clicking in the same profile menu while using the Browser version of JIRA (Web version)?
