Hi
Since the new issue view has been deployed, the security level option is not available anymore.
This filed is not listed in the Issue layout configuration.
Thank for your help
For everyone experiencing this issue..
I don't know if this was always there but now there is a lock icon near the top-right of the new issue view that allows you to modify the issue security.
Thank for posting. That was not easy to find.

So apparently this has never been solved?
Not being able to see this view makes setting a security level useless. There's no way to confirm that the security level has been properly set per-issue.
Anyone find a solution?

@Florian LocqueneuxPlease read how you can configure issue security/security levels.

@Florian LocqueneuxSecurity level is a system field. You will need to add it to the screen, for it to appear.

Hi,
The filed is present in the "Issue Screen" and "Field configuration" , but not listed in the "Issue Layout" screen. I am missing something..

@Florian Locqueneuxif field is in the Create/Edit/View screen for the issue type you are using. if you have not selected any value for the security level, Edit screen select a value for the security level and then update. it should appear in the View screen.

Hi, I confirm we are on cloud.
Be switching to the old view every time is not really acceptable. Is it possible to revert to the old view permanently or to improve the new one with the oldest features included ?
It's a non sens to debug the new design in production, this is impacting our end users !

I can confirm the same. Security level is a field present on the default issue screen, along with a number of other fields—and all the other fields are listed on the Issue Layout configuration for the new issue view except for security level!
This is a critical field for us, otherwise we cannot set or even see the correct security levels!

@Florian Locqueneux Be sure to head over to https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-70140 and add your comment and click the Affected Customers counter to show that it affects your team!

Happening for me too. As above, there is no obvious resolution here. Added my vote.

I am experiencing this issue as well. We use the security view to control access to tickets. Please add this field to the new view.

Same problem here. Security Level field appears in Old View, but not in the New View.
It seems to me that this is not user configuration related.

Same problem for our team too , we want the issue "Security Level" field in new Jira Issue view.

Looking for a solution on this issue, too. We need to continuously switch between new and old view. Which also causes inconsistencies working with attached images!
