New status not appearing on Kanban / Backlog views

Deleted user August 16, 2018

Hi everyone,

I am struggling with a new status added to my workflow ("Ready for Triage").

The tickets are missing from my Backlog and Kanban (for current sprint) views.

Even if the board configuration has been properly set up. Status is recognized as existing but mentions there no issues within it.

Any thoughts how I can solve that? Please let me know if you need further.

Many thanks for your help,

Celia

Hi Celia,

Could you share your Saved filter under the Board's settings and are the issue matches them?

You can refer to this related documentation: Configuring filters

I have this same issue. Above this reply, it says "Answer accepted". However, I don't understand how this reply answered the question. I also have a status for a task (the initial status) that is not appearing on the Kanban board. However, the board filter is not filtering it out, so there is nothing to "undo" within the filter to suddenly make them appear. It's like Jira is not recognizing the initial task status at all. Like the person who posted this, when I look at the Backlog column on the Kanban board I am not seeing my initial status listed. How do I get it to show on the backlog? I have other issuetypes where the initial status (mapped to the "To Do" status - with a gray box around it) ARE DISPLAYING. It's just this one status on an a Task... ?
