New to Jira, Who is using the Slack Integration and how well is it working?

I am just getting up and running in Jira and would like to know what experience or feedback you have had by integrating slack and Jira. Is it worth it? What are you choosing to use it for in your situation?

Hello Nichole,

We make Jira Slack Integration plugin, so my opinion is biased. 

Based on our customer feedback, these are top 3 benefits of Slack integration:

1. Jira project data is more current cos its easier to update issues from Slack.

2. Manual nudging/shoulder taps replaced with automated Slack reminders.

3. Keep people outside Jira as well in the loop by scheduling Jira reports in Slack.
