Next Gen Project Sprints are pulling in from another board - Why?

I have been using the Next Gen Project board for the last few months with one of my software teams. We recently switched from Kanban to Scrum and I enabled the Sprint feature. The name of the sprint showing in my backlog, however, is the name of another sprint (Sprint 111) from another team in my organization instead of Sprint 1 for my project. The sprint only shows tickets for my project (as opposed to pulling in tickets from Sprint 111) but I'm trying to figure out why this is happening. Sprint 111 works on 2 week sprints and this project (Sprint 1) works in a 1 week cadence so I can't have them sharing sprints. Can someone help?

Hi, Kelly

Probably what happened here is that one of your users have assigned an issue from this another project to your sprint by mistake.

We have a documentation which provides more detailed information about this scenario here Sprints shared between multiple boards.

To find which issue is wrongly assigned to this sprint, run a JQL like sprint = "sprint name" and remove the sprint value when you find the issue. This will solve your problem :)

Besides that, as a tip, we always recommend our customers to use unique names for their sprints since they're are not dependent on projects and can be assigned to any issue of your instance.

Using a name like <Project Key> - Sprint 1 already helps you to avoid this!

Let me know if this helps!
