Not able to add/update Fix Version and Sprint with new Jira Release

With new Jira Labs rolled out, I have been using the new Jira view but recently faced a critical issue wherein i am not able to add/update Fix Version and Sprint.

Could you elaborate on that a bit more? When I look at the Fix version list I see this:

And by clicking on 'Create new version' I get the new version screen:

A sprint can also be selected (not created):
