Not able to see dependency lines on JIRA Plans Timeline view

Hello Community

I am getting use of Plans in JIRA.

I have created various test issues(with a label and I am using filter to display only those issues o Plans) and assigned them to respective sprint and releases. But the thing is, I am not able to see the dependency lines for the issues that I have created even when there are linked issues for that issue.

So now I added source of whole test project with random issues, and here the dependency lines are visible for them. Now I am confused about where I am making mistake.

Also is there any way we can make sprints visible in timeline similar to release ribbon at top of the view?

Please let me know.

Thanks in advance!!

Hi @Saili

A few things to verify:

  • Are all the issues that are dependencies present in the plan?
  • Are you using the same dependency link type on all the tickets?

I'm not sure how it works in Cloud, but in Data Center you can define which link types will build out the dependencies in the Plan. To configure this, go to Manage Apps > Advanced Roadmaps for Jira > Dependencies (this may be different in Cloud)

You can check there to see if the links that you're using between the issues will show as dependencies in the Plan.
