Notification

Hi Team, 

I am an Admin on Jira and have added an option to receive notification when a new ticket has been raised. However, I'd like the notification to come through in 'Direct' rather than 'Watching' 

Can you let me know if this is possible? The reason I'm looking for this is because notification that are in 'Watching' does not comes through as a popup (does not notify me)

Hi @David Haller ,

Are you using company managed project or team-managed? Also, want to know if your project is in software or service management?

If you're using company managed project, you may want to update your Notification scheme.

1. Go to project notification -> Notification -> Settings -> Action -> Edit Notification


The Edit Notifications page lists all of the events , along with the recipients who will receive notifications when each event occurs. Click the Add link in the appropriate event row , which opens the Add Notification page, where you can choose who to notify (about the event) from the list of available recipients.

Thanks @Dexter de Vera . I have made those changes but the notifications are still going on 'Watching' rather than 'Direct'. Is there a way I can move this?
