Notifications for issues

is there any possibility to turn on notifications (like email notification) for Jira issues?

(the notifications should be for the asignee)

You can get all the notifications related to your issues on Jira itself and interact on them directly by using In-App & Desktop Notifications for Jira

By default, project notifications are sent to assignee, reporter and watchers of issues. It is possible to copy the notification scheme and edit each event. (for ex, only assignee)

Go to project -> project settings -> notifications to check it.
