O365 Modern Authentication on Jira Software 6.3.1

Hi All ,

We are  planning a migration from Exchange to Office365 in our company , currently we use JIRA Software 6.3.1 , i presume that O365 Modern Authentication isn't supported on Jira Software 6.3.1 , but we are wondering if there is a way to get it working ? 

Our main concern is that our JIRA IMAP connection won't work when we move to Office 365 

If it's not possible , which Jira Software versions would support the Modern Authentication ( NOTE : This is Server Hosting ) ?

Yes indeed, your Jira version will not work with OAuth 2.0, you will need to update at least to the 8.5.9 version, however, you can refer to this https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/integrating-with-oauth-2-0-1013845729.html article, which has all detailed information about the configuration.
