It's just giving an error right now. Not really explaining to the user what field is required.
Can i have a custom error added?
In my oppinion it is not a solution. For example: Attachment field validation messgae is "Please add attachment..." or something simimal. In this case i would like to specify my own validation message, for example "You need to add payment invoice." How to do that ?
Thanks.
Since it is OnDemand I would say there is no solution then.

What if it's not Ondemand. Can you do this with Download version?

I guess you could write an own plugin which can achieve what you want (but I cannot help there) or even change the code of JIRA (which I would never recommend).

Well I guess this is out of the box not possible, however what you could do is to add in your transition only those fields to the transition screen which are required. So the user doesn't have to guess but simply fill out all those fields appearing in the transition screen.

Jobin, the question is: how to add custom error message to required field in order to explain for user what is required. He is asking how to do that ?

Can you add a screenshot? It normally specifies the field name.
