Hi,

I was hoping to gain clarity as to whether JIRA has the feature to show all invited members of a project board in an active sprint, regardless of whether they have tickets in the sprint or not?

No - as far as I know, boards do not have members. Are you using a Team-managed project (TMP) or a Company Managed (CMP) one?

Projects have members. The project admins can go to Project > Settings > People but I don't think you need to be explicitly added to a CMP project to be assigned a task. e.g. you could be part of a group that has role 'developer'.

The nearest thing is what you mentioned - the Jira backlog shows the avatar of each user with issues (work items) assigned to them for the sprint.
