Hi @Viviane da Silva Moreira

Here is a detailed walkthrough:

1. Creating a Group
Navigate to Jira Administration > Users & Groups.
Create a new group or make sure the desired group already exists.

2. Setting Permissions
Go to Jira Administration > Projects.
Select the project where you want to apply the permissions.
Click Project Settings > Permissions.
Edit the Permission Scheme for the project.
Add specific "Create Issues" and "Edit Issues" permissions only for the desired group.

Hope this helps

Hi @Viviane da Silva Moreira

To restrict the ability to create and edit a specific task across multiple projects to a single group, you can utilize Jira's Permission Schemes and Issue Security Schemes to configure the necessary permissions.

Step 1: Create a Custom Permission Scheme
Step 2: Apply the Permission Scheme to the Projects
Step 3: Create an Issue Security Scheme (Optional, for finer control)

Additional, if you want to restrict editing based on workflow statuses:

  1. Edit the workflow for the relevant issue types.
  2. Add a Workflow Property to the status(es) where you want to restrict editing. For example:
    • Key: jira.permission.edit.group
    • Value: task-creators
  3. Publish the workflow.

Hope this helps

Best regards

Sam
