My user has created a Plan using the following as the filter:
Statuses: All To Do, All In Progress
All Issues
Hierarchy: Epic to Subtask.
The resulting view displays all the open Epics, and all of the child tasks including ones that are Done. They only want to see items that are not Done. Is this possible?
Hello, Good day. You can go to plan settings >> Exclusion rules and exclude the done status from the plan
Hello @Darryl St_ Pierre
Yes, go to your Plan settings, and on the left menu, select "Exclusion rules" and add the statuses you want to exclude under Select work status to exclude.

@arielei Thank you so much!
Does anyone know why the exclusions are needed when we're only specifying open statuses to display? I'm guessing that the included statuses specified up front only apply to the top-level (i.e. - Epic) results.

Sorry but i dont understand your question.

In other words, the filter is specifying only To Do and In Progress, so why are Done items being displayed and requiring the extra step of exclusions?
