Open pull requests are not showing/syncing under the development panel when viewing an issue

Using Jira cloud, when viewing an issue, sometimes open pull requests are not shown / synced from bitbucket cloud. The issue is being referenced (presumably) properly by including the issue key in branch names, commit messages, pull request titles and descriptions.

It's odd for a few reasons:

  • it occurs quite often, but it seems random
  • the branch and commits will display - just not the pull request
  • when the branch gets updated (let's say with a merge for example), it can cause it to 'sync' up and properly display the open pull request

Has anyone experienced this? Am I doing something wrong with my pull requests? This has been happening for a while and to multiple people. Thanks in advance for any help!

We are using gitlab ee (private deployment), but has the same issue. sometimes  is the key, didn't know the pattern yet.

It hasn't happened lately, so I assumed it was just a bug. But if this is happening to you still it probably still exists.

It's so hard to pinpoint this issue, but I've been lucky enough to not experience it for a while now.

We didn't find a fix for the problem, it just started working properly on its own.

We have the same behaviour currently.
It might happen to a recent Github Enterprise update.

But still investigating.
