Our instance of JIRA doesn't have the ability to synchronize users, the option is just missing from where I've seen it in other instances. Here's the allowed operations... are we missing something perhaps?
Allowed operations: [CREATE_GROUP, CREATE_ROLE, CREATE_USER, DELETE_GROUP, DELETE_ROLE, DELETE_USER, UPDATE_GROUP, UPDATE_GROUP_ATTRIBUTE, UPDATE_ROLE, UPDATE_ROLE_ATTRIBUTE, UPDATE_USER, UPDATE_USER_ATTRIBUTE]
Hi Cameron,
Is the Cache Enabled checkbox selected in the directory config? If it’s not, there won’t be a sync option as everything is done live.
does this potentially go by a different name? I don't see a checkbox hat says "cache enabled"

I believe I found the setting you were talking about, and with the checkboxes clicked and unclicked I still see the same results.

I intended to change the title of this question. It's actually an AD user directory. Also there is no data about the last time synchronization occurred.
