Assume I have sprint named numerically from the start of this year, i.e. Sprint 1, Sprint 2, etc.

When I click on the Sprint field, a dropdown appears with a list of possible sprints. I have ticked "Only show sprints in this project" as we have several projects at the same time.

The sprints listed seem to be ordered in an arbitrary way, but I don't understand how. Right now, it lists:

  • Sprint 4
  • Bug backlog (at the bottom of our backlog)
  • Sprint 5
  • Sprint 6
  • Sprint 7
  • Low priority work (also at the bottom of our backlog)
  • Sprint 8
  • Sprint 9

Why aren't Sprint 2 and 3 on this list? Most of the time, I'm looking for the next sprint, and it's never on the list.

I don't have an answer, but my teams are seeing this strange behavior as well.

Same issues for us... Despite it is quite easy to find the required sprint by e.g. typing "3" the actual and upcoming spints should be listed in this dropdown sorted by start date of the sprint.

Our teams also find this anomaly problematic.
