Order of status in Configuration and Active Sprints is not the same

Joachim Schittenhelm March 5, 2019

Hi all,

wenn configuring my board I set the oirder of the status in the left column like this:

  1. Ready
  2. Refinement
  3. Definition
  4. New

When I go to the active Sprint the order in the left column is confused and not like above.

  1. Definition
  2. New
  3. Refinement
  4. Ready

What can I do to make the order in the active tab the same as configured?

Best regards

Joachim

Hi @Fazila Ashraf

thanks for your answer.

But this looks too scary for us to implement, the risk of breaking other projects stuff is not worth the benefit.

Best regards

Joachim

Hi @Joachim Schittenhelm

If the workflow is not shared, you can make this changes to the workflow and it reflects only in the project.

Also, You could branch out the workflow if it is shared and make those changes.

Hi @Joachim Schittenhelm

That order is unfortunately not controlled by the column but by the global status order.

If you are the jira admin, you could update the workflow properties on the status with the 'opsbar-sequence' values -> https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver071/workflow-properties-802592825.html?_ga=2.94287380.847464820.1551680960-148493102.1549020354
