Order swimlanes to reflect order of Product Backlog

Hi,

is it possible to change the order (vertical position) of story-based swimlanes in the Agile Board? In our setup, the swimlane order does not reflect the order of the Product Backlog. In this setup, developers easily start working on stories that are not the most valuable in the Sprint.

Hi Andreas,

If you are using the rank field in your board, the order should be the same as your backlog. Could you please make sure you are using the rank field to order the issues in your board? Please note that if you sort the filter using any other field other than the JIRA Agile Rank field, you will not be able to rank (drag-and-drop) issues on the board's backlog.
