PLC Quickfilter in Jira

We recently noticed on our Jira boards either in the Backlog or in the Kanban/Sprint board there's a new QuickFilter option called "PLC".  We have no idea what that is, or what it is supposed to stand for?  I've searched around and haven't seen any information.  If anyone knows what this, that would be great.

Hello @Ken Siskind

Quick Filters can be created by the board administrators. You will need to ask your board administrators about that Quick Filter.

I doubt that is something provided natively by Jira, but if you provide a screen image we can confirm that.

The position suggest that it could be the built-in filter for the Epic issue type.

Did you previously see "Epic" in that position?

Are you able to create an "Epic" issue type in these projects? Or do you now see a "PLC" issue type instead?

Oh good catch @Trudy Claspill .  In the Issue Type Hierarchy, I see that there's a Level name for each issue type.  Some other admin (time to check the audit log) set the Epic issue type to a level name called PLC.  I bet it was the admins working on our rollout of Jira Product Discovery.   Thanks, I never would have thought of checking that.

It showed up on all of the boards in our Jira projects or at least in my random sample of many projects.  And its next to the quick filter dropdown.  So we didn't create this new filter.
