POST request on button press / ScriptRunner

Hey, everybody!

I have created a custom button in my project (let's say named "Button 1") via ScriptRunner.

What I want:

If the user clicks on this button (in the task), send a POST request to the webhook I specified. It is also important that the payload contains the data of the task.

How to do it through ScriptRunner?

Welcome to the community.

You can either get issue data via script and send post request. Please take a look at examples codes.

Or if you can use Jira Automation from Project Settings -> Automation and create a new rule to send web request.
