Hi,
In the peoples tab in the Project Browser Menu, gives an option of adding the user. But not remove a user.
How can we remove the user in the People Tab in the Project Menu ?

You're on Jira 4.4? In the People view, select the "edit pencil" in the project role where you want to remove the user from. This changes the context of the page. When you get the possibility to search for users you will also see the uses already within the project role as a tag "User Name X". Press the "X" and select "Update". This will remove the user from the list.
Hi,
I am using JIRA 4.3.4 and I am not seeing edit pencil.

Jira 4.3.4 does not have a peoples tab in the project browser menu? Do you mean Project Roles under Administration > Projects > Choose Project? Go to the Project Role and remove the users from there.

Actually I am not able to attach the screen shot.
But I am talking about the Project Browser which has many options like
1. Summary
2. Issues
3. Road Map
4. People
5. Change Log

Just open the list of users. Check rightmost option in the "Operations" column, which is "Delete".
