Hi Atlassian Community,

I’m planning to purchase an AMD Ryzen laptop, specifically the Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Gen 2, for work and personal projects. Before committing, I wanted to ask about the compatibility and performance of Atlassian tools like Jira, Confluence, and Trello on Ryzen-based systems. Are there any known issues or differences compared to using these tools on Intel-based laptops? Additionally, if anyone has personal experience running Atlassian software on AMD Ryzen laptops, I’d love to hear about your insights, particularly regarding speed, stability, and overall user experience. Your advice will help me make an informed choice. Thanks in advance for your input!

As I understand it, you want to upgrade your laptop and are using the application through the browser. Since your browser is up-to-date, other applications should work as well. Regarding speed, I would say that since this is an end client, you might not see a significant improvement, but overall, there should be an enhancement.

that improvement a quote small I would say :)
