Permission error when create project with admin user

When I create a new project with the admin user I get a permission error

Permission Violation

It seems that you have tried to perform an operation which you are not permitted to perform.

If you think this message is wrong, please contact your JIRA administrators.

If I look in the project table and entry has been created but the project is not visible on project list.

Any ideas?

Any logging I can turn on?

We 're on version 6.2.7.

Thx

Tom

I'd say your default permission scheme simply doesn't include you as someone with "project browse"

Hi Nic

That's the answer. I add myself into the default scheme that's assigned initially and I created a new [project without the error message.

Haven't had to do that previously, but that's been in earlier versions of JIRA

thx

Having carried on with set of  schemes and associated them with the new project it is now visible in the projects list. Still no idea about Permission Violation message. (LDAP glitch for my user?)
