our current DB is mysql5.5.30 version. Please let me know which version is supports the latest Jira version 8.20.1
And also let me know Is It possible to update directly from 6.4.6 to 8.20.1 If it's not let me know the version to version upgrade process.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Srikanth.
Hi @Srikanth ,
you should first upgrade to Jira 7.0.11 first, and then upgrade to the latest 8.20 version.
You can have a look at the requirements here for Jira 7 : https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver070/supported-platforms-749382629.html
And here for Jira 8.20 : https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/supported-platforms-938846830.html
Let me know if this helps,
--Alexis

Yes Jira 8.20.1 is an LTS release (previously named Enterprise).
Also, that version of Java is compatible.

Do we need to pay for Jira v7.0 .. or we can access it for free since it is only a step in the migration
