Hello
I'm using Plans to display issues from various projects and I'm using the "Group by labels" option in the "View settings".
However, when using this grouping, I have issues that appear in both the "All other issues" group and the group that matches their label.
My questions:
1/ is there a way to hide the "All other issues" group ?
2/ how can I avoid having duplicate issues ?
I checked the TP-22 and it has only one label.
The only thing different between the duplicate issues and other issue is that at one point, I changed its label to put it in a correct group. So it could be some cache information not cleared from Jira. In this case how to clear it ?
Thanks for your help
Hey @Corinne Guibert
If you have any of the subtasks under the story that don't have the same label, it will still show up in the "All other issues" section.
So, for an issue to show up only under the specified label section, all the issues in the hierarchy should have the same label added. You may verify the child issues of TP-22 to ensure they have the same labels.
If an issue has multiple labels, it will show up in all the label groups. We don't have a way to hide the "All other issues" section. It will hold any issues that don't fall into the specified label groups.
I hope this explains.
Thanks!
Hello @Karan Sachdev
Thanks for the clarification, it partially some me issue.
Partially because the explanation is correct
Now, for a user perspective, having to add to all my subtask the same label as their parent task is a lost of time and effort.
Unless I keep having duplicate issue which is making my plan a mess. So much for having a usefull tool
