Previous sprint completed items are showing up in the current sprint as Done

Each of my sprints has been assigned a start and end date (2 week sprint). 

Once I complete a sprint and start a new sprint, I am noticing that items that have been done in previous sprints are showing up in my current sprint's JIRA board on the Done column. 

In the Done column - I would like to see only the current sprint's work that has been completed. Can you please help?

Is "Done" the last column on your board? If not, JIRA won't consider the items as completed and would have moved the items to current sprint when the last sprint was completed. Is that the case?

I had the same issue, In my case , I am having "Done" column at end only then also the issue occurs
