Hello everyone,
I have an issue with configuration of time tracking in Jira Team management project. The structure of the project is Epic -> Task -> Subtask. We work very often on subtasks and log the time spent by using the field Time tracking. When we want to close a Task with closed subtasks there is an option to confirm that the time Include child issues. In our process we only log time in the final stage and I don't want to sum the time in the Task by calculating all the time of its subtasks. Because of that I uncheck the box in the task, but after refresh JIRA automatically check the box again and make a summary in the task of all its subtasks. How can I stop this function at all?
Thanks in an advance!
Hi @Todor Yonkov There is no option to keep that unchecked by default. However, there is a feature request for the same- JRACLOUD-76437
Hi @Utkarsh Singh , thanks for your answer. I found a walkaround for this case, but it will be so good to have such an option.

Hello everyone,
How I sad in the request, the problem for us is that we don't want to calculate the time in the "Parent" Issues because we export information for the tracked work from JIRA to other system where we can't separate issues which are with calculated time for their child issues. Because of that we made a new "done" stage for these issues which name is "AllDone" and during the export we skip them and export only these with stage "Done"
I hope this information is helpful for you.
