I have two JIRA instances, first is helpdesk, and second is JIRA Software
For both, i have the same outgoings emails configuration and rules
But, from helpdesk emails works fine, but from Software not (error appears from 05.2022)
Test connection for both is OK
But test email works only for helpesk
Below is log from test email:
"An error has occurred with sending the test email:
com.atlassian.mail.MailException: javax.mail.SendFailedException: Invalid Addresses;
nested exception is:
com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPAddressFailedException: 554 5.7.1 <unknown[10.220.112.248]>: Client host rejected: Access denied"
If you are running two different servers, do they have the same access to see the LDAP server?
Assuming you have double checked credentials are the same on both servers.
Trying pinging the LDAP servers from a terminal session on the broken server.
I have had many connectivity issues when setting up separate instances on AWS and network permissions.
