There is a problem with the iOS JIRA app. I can modify already created requests but I can't create new requests. There is a mandatory field that's missing on the "create new request" form. So, when I tried to validate the newly created request, an error message appeared telling me that the request cannot be validated because there is a field that has to be filled or "selected". This is a field of the "picker" type where you have to select an option. However, I can't proceed because the field in question does not appear in the "create new request" form. Hi Jean,
I am sorry you ran into an issue with the app.
Would you be able to send us feedback through the app please? Specifically, can you open the Create Issue screen and shake your phone to open the feedback form?
Picker-type fields should be supported on that screen so I am curious what is going on there.
Thank you,
Simon
I was not able to open the feedback form by shaking the iPhone XR. Picker-type fields do show up but with one exception. FINALLY, I FOUND A WAY TO GET TO THE FEEDBACK FORM WITHOUT HAVING TO SHAKE MY iOS CELLPHONE BUT I HAD TO QUIT THE CREATE ISSUE FORM. It has a screenshot of the problematic picker field.
