Problems with filling part time

Hi,

We have some employees, which are working a part time. Now it looks like there is no possibility for them to use JIRA. They have fixed amount of time for each month for example 80 hours per month. Some of them are working 5 hours per day and it means that it will be only 16 work days per month. So it can be so first week they are working monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, second week monday, tuesday and thursday and etc.

Is it really so that JIRA is not useable in this case ?

How can we set requared hours for whole month?

What part of JIRA are you asking about? Is this about a specific time tracking plugin? Almost all of my JIRA users are part-time employees and we don't have any problems using it.
