Project with boards to template

Hi all,

I have a project (using my own workflow scheme) and two kanban boards linked to the project.
One board is for the project admins for the approval of change requests. And the other one is for the developers (Only the issue statusses after approval are shown here.)

Since this is the way we would like to work on all future projects I would like to be able to create a template based on this project.

I would not mind reconfiguring this all for the template but in the template creation settings I do not find the option to specify multiple boards at once.

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks for the sugesstion.

Unfortunatly most of the work I have is creating the boards.
I guess I wil just create a template for a project with one board (using the Jira Agile template functionality) and add the second one after project creation.

I am pleased to announce that the upcomming update of Gaia for JIRA will support JIRA Agile integration to some degree.

You will be able to create boards dynamicaly when creating a project using a template with the board creation option enabled. The newly created project will automaticly be associated with the board. We will also support epics, stories and epic links between them.

Gaia for JIRA could help you with your issue.

With Gaia for JIRA, you can create a template with a set issues and schemes you want your project to be associated with after it's creation. What would be left to do is to create the kanban boards and associate them with your project.
