I read the excellent article on how to add a prompt for comment on a ticket during a transition. But it seems only to work when a user has the ticket open and uses the dropdown box to change status. When dragging the ticket between lanes in the board view, the user is not prompted.
Is there a way to force the user to comment when handling the tickets in this way?
This sounds weird. Are you sure that screen is popping in the issue view? Dragging an issue on the board is the exact same as clicking the transition button. Also mayne check that you don't have multiple statuses mapped to that column. The users may be dropping into the wrong status.
The column in question has only one status mapped to it. I'm at a loss. Thanks for trying, though.
