Is it possible to pull in all issues under an initiative into a structure? Below is my setup:

Initiative

-- Epics link to above Initiative using the Issue Links is accomplished by

---Epics link to above Epics using the Issue Links is accomplished by

----Stories link to above epics using Issues in Epic

In the Structure, I have add the automation at the top level to add all linked by Accomplish: parent accomplishes or is accomplished by, but it will only pull in the first level of Epics.  How do I pull in all the other Epics and also the stories under each Epic?

Hello Amanda,

You can build a hierarchy by using this approach:
1. Adding issues of the top level of the hierarchy first manually or by an Insert generator.
2. And then adding the rest by using the Extend generators, you just need to configure an extender to the type of a link and its direction that connects the top-level issues with their linked sub-issues. One extender can add issues linked with a single link type, so if you have different link types in the hierarchy, you need to use multiple extenders.

I'm afraid the hierarchy you have is not clear to me. Is it Initiatives - linked with the accomplished by link - Epics - linked with their Stories? Or do you have two levels of Epics? If you could provide more details about the existing levels and how they are connected, and send screenshots of an issue Page of each issue type that should be in the hierarchy, we'll be able to recommend more precise instructions.

Please feel free to reach out to us directly at support.almworks.com , we'll be glad to take a look into your setup closely and help you build the structure you need.
