Hello, I have two questions on Auto Watch

1) Is it possible to do a mass update.  We have "Enabled" defaulted, but we would like to set all users to Inherit from Global Settings.  Is there an easier way to do this than go in one by one?

2) I hope I figure this out before I get a response, but just in case.  I haven't found where the Global Settings sit for this.  Anyone have navigation?

Thank you in advance.  Great community here.

Hi @Phil Fisher,

You can find the global settings under Administration --> System --> Default user preferences --> Autowatch own issues.

Hope this helps!

Thanks!

Hello @Phil Fisher

Are you talking about the "Watch your issues" setting in a user's Personal Settings?

This article says how to find the Global Setting for this

https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-stop-being-automatically-added-to-the-watcher-s-list-when-working-on-issues-298975297.html

I have not yet found information on how to modify another user's personal settings, even for an admin.
