Quick search - server vs cloud?

Hi,

I recently migrated from Cloud to Server (7.4.1), and I noticed the quick search box isn't as fancy as it was in the cloud version.  (It used to show categories - Issues | Boards | Projects | Filters in a window as I typed)

Is it possible to enable that?  If not is it something that is coming to the server version?

At the moment it is not possible to do that with JIRA Server.   JIRA Cloud tends to get these kinds newer features sooner.

There is an existing feature request to bring that functionality to the JIRA Server platform over in JRASERVER-63096.

I'd recommend watching that case.  If this feature ever does make it over to the server platform, that ticket will be updated to indicate what version of JIRA might ship this.
